Imran Khan’s video message after Elections
The result of Pakistan’s 2013 General Election has taken everyone by surprise. The momentum created by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)’s chief Imran Khan has certainly motivated Pakistani people to come out in and vote in hot and humid weather on polling day. The polling on May 11, 2013 across Pakistan was widely rigged. The evidence of rigging in form videos and pictures are flooded on online forums like Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and blogs etc. There is a sense of disappointment and anger in people of Pakistan especially youth who voted for change to create Imran Khan’s envisioned “Naya Pakistan”. Imran is currently recovering in Shaukat Khanum Hospital (SKMH) due to fall injuries during Lahore Jalasa.
In time of such disappointment and despair Imran Khan has yet again sent a motivational and positive video message to his supporters, PTI workers and the people of Pakistan via Facebook. He congratulate Pakistani nation for coming out to vote in such big numbers. He further said that he was depressed with the massive rigging during the elections but his all disappointment was disappear when he saw such a big turnout. In the end he added that if they form PTI government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, they will show the world how good governance is done. This message shows the maturity of Imran Khan who had sent a positive message to his followers in midst of frustration and disappointment.
