Altaf Hussain interrogated for 7 hours by UK Police
According to media reports Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s (MQM) leader and founder Altaf Hussain was interrogated by United Kingdom (UK) Police for seven hours in connection to money laundering and Imran Farooq killing. Earlier Altaf Hussain has warned in his telephonic address, following the Police raid at his London residence, that UK and international establishment is trying to fabricate case against him in Imran Farooq murder case. The Imran Farooq murder investigation is still under process and details of its progress are not shared by Scotland Yard law or any other order enforcement agencies of UK.
According to reports investigation officers of money laundering and anti-terrorism affairs were inquiring Altaf Hussain about source of income regarding hard cash found at his London residence. Altaf Hussain has maintained that property in London was purchased by the money donated by MQM workers and supporters. Pakistani media is following development in London very closely. Many news analysts are of the fears that Karachi’s already worsen law and order situation will be affected with whatever transpires miles away in London.
