Yet again, former President and General (Retd) Pervez Musharraf has avoided his Court appearance when he said to have experience a heart trouble in his way to Court for historical treason case. According to news reports, he has suffered a heart attack and his condition was critical when he was taken to hospital. Pervez Musharraf is facing a high level treason charges under Article-6 for subverting the constitution of Pakistan twice. Musharraf have said in his recent interview to Mubasher Lucman (Khara Sach) that during his presidency, he has taken all decision in best interest of Pakistan and has not committed any crime.
Pervez Musharraf was admitted to the Armed Forces Institute of Cardiology (AFIC) in Rawalpindi. Doctors have said that 70 year old Musharraf’s condition is now stable and he is out of danger. Earlier, explosive material was found in the vicinity of Pervez Musharraf’s farm house residence. His lawyers argued that these explosives were placed to assassinate Musharraf and shows a serious threat on his life. But Court was getting wary with Pervez Musharraf absenteeism. Speculations and rumors are circulating regarding Musharraf fate everywhere and some analyst seriously doubts Musharraf would be ever tried for treason. Supporters of Pervez Musharraf also argue that his era was far more stable and worthwhile for ordinary Pakistanis compares to previous Asif Ali Zardari led PPP government’s highly corrupt five year tenure and current Nawaz Sharif’s clueless administration.
