Rambo Sahiba makes more sense than Shahista Wahidi & Nida Yasir

The latest new morning show to hit the Pakistani airwaves is “Rambo Sahiba Aur Aap” on Express News. The show is host by husband wife movie stars Jan Rambo (Afzal Khan) and Sahiba Afzal. In times where big names like Shaista Wahidi, Nida Yasir, Sanam Baloch and Maya Khan etc are engage in senseless mehndi, wedding and valima ceremonies; Rambo and Sahiba’s show actually makes sense. In their latest shows, Rambo and Sahiba discussed serious issues of increasing population and urbanization in a very effective manner with a pinch of comedy. Rambo started off with discussing with his lovely wife Sahiba that why wives don’t understand what guys have to go through while returning home from work these days. Increasing traffic, dug up roads, ineffective urban planning and lack of government interest, all contributes towards creating problem for general public and commuters. Afzal rightly said that when you let your cities grows out of proportion, you are creating problem by yourself as resources starts to deplete and mismanagement starts to grow.

Jan Rambo also added that small cities and rural areas are sadly ignored by each successive government. Because of lack of development and job opportunities, the rural areas problem is compounding and people are moving to big cities to seek livelihood for their families. As he wraps the important issues quickly without boring the audience, his beautiful hot wife and actress Sahiba nodded in agreement. It is really refreshing to see Afzal Rambo and Sahiba discussing important issues in their morning shows while other restores to doing absurd activities of dancing in fake wedding ceremonies to boast their show ratings. Apart from Rambo Sahiba Aur Aap, only other morning show that takes on important issues with entertainment is film star’s Shaan show (Geo Shan say) on Geo News. Shan show definitely has content writers that research for the show. The management of the news and entertainment channels must realized that investing in their programming content may required some expenditure but it will not only result in increasing viewership & ratings but will also build viewers loyalty.
