Bashir Bilour killed in Peshawar suicide blast during ANP rally
Bashir Ahmed Bilour was killed in Peshawar in Qissa Khawani Bazaar area while leading a during an Awami National Party (ANP) rally around quarter to 7pm. He was rushed to Lady Reading Hospital, Peshawar where who could survive his injuries. It was reported that at least 8 people were dead and 18 were also injured during the deadline blast. Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP) is the most terrorism affected province of Pakistan. During last ten years countless lives has been lost to increasing terrorism and lawlessness. Bashir Ahmed Bilour was the younger brother of Federal Railways Minister Ghulam Ahmed Bilour and Provincial MPA.
Bashir Ahmed Bilour has survived two suicide attempts and one missile attacks on his home. On March 11, 2009, a suicide failed to detonate explosives merely 10 feet away from him. He was awarded ‘Hilal-e-Shujaat’ for his firm determination to curb terrorism from Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP). He may rest in peace.
